Born in Norway, moved to Stockholm as a 15-year-old kid Has an economics education in the luggage. Have 3 adult children, have made a career in business, jumped off the career ladder in 2010, moved out to the Stockholm archipelago where I, together with my wife Kristina, have built the first "tented lodge" inScandinavia - today called a clamping.
Ser myself as a fearless curious globetrotter, from childhood I have loved to travel and discover new countries and cultures, preferably exotic places, everything from glaciers in Greenland to isolated islands in the Pacific Ocean. Outdoor living has always been a strong driving force for me. With age, I realize that life has an end, and now want to take care and realize things in life before it´s too late.
Why not break up and seek new challenges to develop as a person, leave old footprints and create new ones. I probably have a large portion of stubbornness in my personality, for better or for worse, I want to test my wings again, which have become stronger over the years, after all the hardships in life. Now the journey takes off to the other side of the globe, and I look forward to what life has to offer.
Finally!! I´ve longed for this move long before I knew it was where I was going:) Born in Sweden Summer of 69, but with my feet deeply rooted in the red sands of Africa where I lived parts of my childhood.
After having worked for more than 20 years as an interior designer, it was not enough to be self-employed, I wanted to do my own projects. That was the start of Island Lodge in the Stockholm archipelago together with Torkild. Have always loved animals, riding, sailing and skiing and after eleven years of living almost the whole year outdoors, the need to be in nature has become stronger.
I can´t simply not return to what the other calls a "normal" life within four walls and a normal workplace in an office building. I often go deep into what interests me and after some health problems I started to analyze what you actually put in yourself, real medicine (what Big Pharma calls alternative) Yoga, psychology, philosophy and much much more that I might write about here someone day.
